Getting the Bridal Shower Invitations Right
You are busy planning for a wedding. Who has time to get the bridal shower invitations right? As part of the host’s
job of planning the bridal shower, the invitations will have to be selected, printed, mailed and sorted as they
come back. It isn’t an easy job but it is the perfect job to pass off onto someone else that is willing and able to
help you with the planning of this celebration.
To help you to make sure you cover your bases, here are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to bridal shower
invites.
1. Determine the date of the bridal shower and insure you have at least a full month prior to that date to send out
invitations for it. This will allow you enough time to mail them out and to hear back from everyone and gives
everyone enough time to plan a solution so they can make it.
2. Having wedding shower invitations professionally made is a great thing but it can be costly. One alternative is
to make them at home with a good quality invitation software tool. If you go this route, have someone with a high
quality printer print them for you. Even if you take it to your nearest shop to have done, it will still be much
less expensive then having them professionally made.
3. Make a list of all those you have invited and as the guests call to let you know that they can or can’t make it,
check them off on the list. Also ask them to write the number of people coming as you’ll need to know this for your
caterer. Keeping it all in one location for both sides of the family is a great way to stay organized.
When it comes to the bridal shower invitations, you can make the process so much simpler with just a few things to
help you. Get together with someone else in the wedding party or even a close friend. Have them do the tracking of
the guests. Once you get the invitations ready to go out, all you have to do is to send them out and wait to hear
back. But, don’t forget to give yourself enough time to manage all aspects of this job! With some planning, it will
be easy to accomplish.
